A Success Story – Gaelic Medium Education
more…Since it began in the 1980s Gaelic Medium Education (GME) has grown, and grown and grown. There are now more than 3,500 children in some form of GME, whether it be at pre-school, primary or secondary level. Many of Scotland’s local authorities offer GME and it continues to feed its own success as more and more former pupils are becoming the teachers of the next generation of young learners.
